Enerwin’s S-SAWT-3kW wind turbine was tested at Jeju Global Research Center of Korea Institute of Energy Research in 2017 and gained the high-level results as below. The KS(Korean Standards) certification process for 3kW driven by Kangwon National University is in progress.
The S-SAWT-3kW can produce more than 1.5 times as much electricity compared with the conventional wind turbines under the same wind speed as it has the low cut-in wind speed (1.5 m/s) and the low rated wind speed (9.5 m/s).
S-SAWT 10kW
Enerwin has deployed a 10kW prototype used for the purpose of demonstration at Jeju Global Research Center of Korea Institute of Energy Research and in preparation of acquiring certification along with the 3kW. Thereafter, Enerwin will scale up and supply products worldwide.
